Presenting directly from the Microsoft PowerPoint Mobile app on your iOS or Android device is highly efficient for on-the-go meetings. You can run a full slideshow, view speaker notes, draw on slides, and cast your screen to a larger monitor directly from your phone.
Here is how to set up, launch, and control your presentation using your phone. Launching the Presentation
Open the presentation: Find your file via the Microsoft PowerPoint App or the unified Microsoft 365 mobile app.
Start the show: Tap the Play/Present icon located at either the top ribbon or bottom toolbar of the screen.
Choose your starting point: Tap From Current to present your highlighted slide, or navigate to Home > Slide Show > From Beginning to start from the top. Controlling Your Slides
Advance slides: Swipe left across your phone screen to move to the next slide.
Go backward: Swipe right across your screen to return to the previous slide.
Activate laser pointer: Tap and hold anywhere on the active slide to bring up a digital laser pointer.
Use ink and drawing tools: Swipe down in the middle of your screen during a presentation to open the Slide Show toolbar. Select the Ink icon to sketch or write directly on your slide.
Exit the slideshow: Swipe down to trigger the top menu and tap the End Slide Show or Close button. Accessing Presenter View
To view your personal speaker notes without your audience seeing them: Tap the active slide to reveal the top control bar.
Tap the Presenter View icon (resembling a screen with arrows pointing inward).
This opens a split-screen interface displaying the current slide, your upcoming slide queue, and your bulleted speaker notes. Connecting to a Larger Screen
